A famous sight in coastal Georgia, the Sidney Lanier Bridge rises up over the water of Fancy Blufff Creek. A cable-stayed bridge in Brunswick, Georgia, it is currently the longest-spanning bridge in Georgia and is 480 feet (150 m) tall. It is also the 76th largest cable-stayed bridge in the world. It was named for poet Sidney Lanier.
